Short version: we store the account and collection data you give us, we don't sell it, your private collections stay private, and what you contribute to the public registry stays in the registry.
We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
Public: your profile (username, display name, avatar, bio), who you follow, collections you have explicitly marked public, and copies you own where you chose to show ownership publicly.
Private by default: your email address, your wishlist, collections not marked public, prices you paid, private notes, and your notifications. These are enforced at the database level — other users cannot read them, whatever the interface shows.
Public but unattributed: registry sightings are public records of what surfaced. Whether your name appears alongside one depends on the ownership visibility you chose.
You can delete your account from Settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Your profile, collections, wishlist, follows, notifications, and personal collection records are removed. Sightings you reported and the photos backing them are kept, unlinked from your identity — they are the registry's record of what surfaced, and section 4 of the Terms of Service explains why in full. Copies you owned remain in the registry with no owner.
If a specific photo identifies you or you did not have the right to submit it, contact us and we will remove it.
Mobyrip runs on Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and Vercel (hosting). Both process data on our behalf under their own terms. Market data is fetched from external marketplaces; we send them search queries derived from the catalog, never your identity.
You can view and edit your profile and collection at any time, export your collection as CSV from the My Cards page, and delete your account yourself. For anything else — a copy of your data, a correction, or a question about how something is handled — contact us.
